I chanced upon the photography of Max Wanger through a tweet from a friend. She was gushing over the details, and I can see why. One could almost feel the love between the couples, pouring out of the photographs.

On his blog, he tells us a bit more of his creative processes and well wishes for the newlyweds. Some of the ones that I loved are those that showed what would seemingly be a very private moment.

Merry Merry-Go-Round

I was recently researching for factoids on carnivals and carousels for an article, and couldn't resist searching for imagery too. I remember vividly an imagery of my childhood, upon entering an indoor attraction, the first thing I saw was a grand carousel at the very center.

Now looking at these beautiful prints from two fine art photographers, I was transported back to the realm of make-believe.

The carousel seemed to have had both children and adults alike entranced since its very beginnings in Europe. Now some 400 years later, we are still in awe at the sight of it.

What about you? Do you get a feeling of awe every time you're near a carousel? What's your most vivid memory surrounding this merry merry-go-round?
